At the annual event with IT players, a group that Homine is part of, held in September, representatives of the ENCAT, the entity responsible for the National Coordination of Electronic Tax Documents Projects, presented the new planning for the publication of changes in the electronic invoice system (NF-e) of Sefaz.
The plan provides two changes per year, which may occur in the months of April or September, initially, in addition to possible emergency updates. Technical notes will be published with 90 days in advance, with 60 days for homologation and 30 for production.
Technical notes inform about legal and tax changes, error corrections and adjustments implemented in the Sefaz system, in addition to changes in deadlines and changes in the layout of electronic invoices.
“Today, changes are published without prior notice and, in many cases, companies have to run out of time to make changes to their ERP systems”, points out the coordinator of Electronic Documents from Homine, Júlio César Correia. According to him, the plan will avoid inconvenience to taxpayers and allow better organization.
Homine is one of the national and international players in the segment of systems for issuing electronic invoices. The company offers the solution Signature for issuing and receiving commercial invoices, which is a reference in several countries in Latin America.
