This case of success addresses the execution of a project to adapt the proprietary system of SPC Brazil to the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other information security requirements, carried out by Homine's Software Services cell, based on an agile development methodology and shared management with a focus on results.
SPC Brasil had proprietary software that needed constant improvement. Due to the high volume of work, the IT area needed help to make these improvements.
In January 2021, SPC Brasil hired the Software Services team to work on a pilot improvement project. The goal was adapt the main system of SPC Brasil to the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and improve data security, in a very challenging timeframe.
With this pilot project, what was also sought was the consolidation of a trusting partnership, which could follow in other systems projects with the SPC.
Our Software Services cell took over the execution of the pilot project, implementing its agile methodology, adjusted according to the needs of the project.
For the execution of the SPC Brasil pilot project, a dedicated and specialized team was assembled, with the regular participation of the SPC business team:
Work routine: The project team met daily (Daily Scrum) to resolve pending issues, align resolutions and define responsibilities, following the schedule of partial deliveries. Homine's professionals performed technical tasks and those from the SPC clarified business doubts and ensured quality.
