In Mexico, Homine starts international expansion plan
Companies have until August 2nd to comply with the NF-e 4.0

On his first trip at the helm of the new International Accounts department, Homine Tecnologia's director and CIO, José Geraldo Garcia (in the photo, on the right), visited the emerson, in Mexico, where he met with the company's executive, Juan Gabriel Guerrero Diaz (in the photo, on the left), to discuss expanding the services offered by Homine to other countries. The initiative is part of Homine's international expansion plans in Latin America and entry into the American and European markets.
“The meeting was positive and there is already the possibility of Homine becoming a global provider, providing support for Emerson in Latin America and also opening the doors to service beyond Latin American borders”, points out José Garcia.
Homine started serving Emerson Electric in Brazil in 2014 and is responsible for all SAP support for the multinational. Since then, several projects have already been delivered, which involve, for example, manual updates of SAP 4.6C – a version that no longer receives updates from SAP –, ERP integration with other software, in addition to day-to-day process improvements, such as creating new reports, loading programs and automating data entry.
Emerson is also one of the customers of HomSoft, Homine's solution for automating MIGO and MIRO processes.
This week, the Homine and Emerson teams successfully concluded the electronic invoice (NF-e) 4.0 project that was in progress. SAP, the Mastersaf solution and also the foreign trade management product were updated to the new version.
Next steps
According to the Director of International Accounts, the next step will be to formalize a partnership with a large international company so that Homine advances in providing services at a global level. “Right now we are in a classification process with a global partner”, reveals. Some countries, such as the United States, require this type of partnership for foreign companies to operate in their markets.
A new international visit by the board will be scheduled for the coming months, this time to LyondellBasell, in the United States.
